In my ART 240: Fundamentals of Digital Media class at San Diego State University led by Alexis Campanis we took a break from the computers to go back to some arts & crafts with our "DISRUPT" project. Taking inspiration from David Carson with experimental typography, we took a piece of paper with the word "DISRUPT" and with an hour of time, created our own experimental designs. We all ripped, tore, drew, doing anything we can to really alter and disrupt the plain piece of paper at the beginning. After the hour we took our designs into Adobe Photoshop and cleaned up our designs, printed them out again, and destroyed them. Part of the class got together and thought it would be a good idea to put our projects together and set them on fire, to really bring everyone's projects together.
