In my PSFA ART 240: Fundamentals of Digital Media course at San Diego State University, the class was tasked with a project to create a poster for the San Diego Tourism Authority and The City of San Diego. The main objective was to highlight a landmark/area somewhere in San Diego, inspired by the WMP national park posters from the 1930's. The learning objectives was to learn and utilize different tools that Adobe Illustrator has. Using their wide variety of tools such as the line and shaping tools, each student created their own unique poster in their own style. I chose to create mine of the Torrey Pines Golf Course, getting the visual of the iconic paragliders that can always be found over the pacific ocean and the view of hole #3 on the south course that has the perfect view of La Jolla.
